I'm thinking of getting one of the Philips eXpanium MP3/CD players and i'd like it to be small, plus the batteries wouldn't last long enough to let me loisten top the 13hrs+ of music I'd fit on 1 CD

    I checked peats.ie.
Doesn't say how much for that nice looking spindle.
They'd be pretty cool cos I could fit one or two in my wallet/bag and a good few in the glovebox of the car :)

Anyone else bought a MP3/CD walkman type thing?
    Any reccomendations?
Philips seem to be the only big name making this specific type of product.

The reason, befor anyone asks, why i'm going this route instead of a solid state MP3 player is cost of capacity. I batteries may not last as long but I can fit a hell of a lot more on a disk that costs a £1 or two then i can on a flashROM that cost £100 times as much for half the capacity.

Also plays some funny AAC music format. Prolly a few others too.
