Apparently they found the problem and will ship the unaffected boards pretty quickly while modifying the FAB to stop it happening again.
IMHO its a good thing, better than Buying a Geforce and Athlon nice and early and not being able to use anything more than AGP1x.

take the fans off and open up your box and let thewarm air flow around your house.
if its perticularly cold outside, overclock your voodoo, and cold toes will no longer be a problem!
