NT Audit Tool?

I am wondering if anyone can tell me if there is an NT tool that simply logs exactly what activity has been performed on the box in a very simple format anyone can understand. For example a stand alone NT4 box that when someone logs in and copies a file from a to b a log file would say something like: user admin logs in…

stuff like that? Anyone any idea?
