    OK found this discussion board.

    http://www.iransportspress.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi

They seem fairly confident and there are some interesting consiracy theories about the Dublin Traffic.

I have tried to setup an account but it had to be validated which hasn't happened yet !!!

    >Dear Irish fans. In order to make your trip to Iran more enjoyable we
suggest that you follow the following guidelines.
    1) Be extremely friendly to the Persian ladies, two kisses on each side
is recommended and don't forget to hold their hands while walking on the
    streets. It is the law!

    2) Wear T-shirt with sadam's picture on it, they would love you for that.

    3) If you need a beer go to a bar called "Masjed" and ask the bartender,
it is usually the guy with towel rapped around his head.

    4) Drive yourself after you get drunk, Cheers.

    5) You don't need a visa to go to Iran. Just show up at the airport with
an Israeli passport. Israeli citizens do not require a visa to get in to
Iran but they may need one to exit that country.

    6) You will have the distinct pleasure of visiting Iran during the month
of Ramadan. Ramadan is basically like a combination of Oktoberfest, Mardi
Gras and St. Patrick's Day. Don't forget your carnival outfit.

    7) Great way to meet people, specially the people in charge of greeting
foreigners (who we call Basij) is to offer them tokens of food during
lunchtime, preferably ham sandwich with ham and bacon on top. Don't forget
    the beer!

    8) For picking up ladies go to Friday's party and Jam at the Namaz Jomeh
(basically the same atmosphere as a wet T-shirt contest).

    9) If you have some extra time, you should visit the city of Qazvin,
known for their hospitality. Also, Qazvin is very famous for its rich
sidewalks. You may find money all over it. Just bend over to pick them up.
    It is that easy!

    10) Qazvinis love to joke around, a good way to get them going is to moon
them, that will be a sure way to break the ice.

    Have a safe trip!

    "Travel Tips for Ireland"

TRAVEL TIPS FOR IRANIAN SUPPORTERS GOING TO IRELAND.
    (a) We're now entering the hot season so don't weigh down your luggage with heavy winter clothes. Just bring some shorts and t-shirts (preferably ones adorned with the Union Jack).

    (b) The cost of living is really low! $10 max per day is all you'll need.

    (c) Want to bond with the locals? Just sing the British national anthem in the first pub you come across. They'll love you to death.

    (d) Don't confuse Iceland and Ireland. Bring a Farsi-Irelandic phrase book along to help you with phrases like "Er eitthvad laust i nott?" Reykjavik is a great shopping city so make sure you have lots of Irelandic krone in advance.

    (e) Speak of your love for traditional Irish music. Mention your extensive Westlife CD collection. Break into a few impromptu bars of "Can't believe that I'm a fool again.". At ceili venues. Just when the old guy with the soft voice is starting to sing again in that strange guttural language. Accompaniment is always encouraged.

    (f) Ring the government Department for Cultural Affairs. Ask for info on the free lessons in riverdancing.

    (g) Don't try the high alcohol drinks to begin with. They may not suit you. Start off with a half liter or so of a nice drink like poitin. However, you must down it in 2 or 3 gulps. If you just sip it, you'll look like a cissy.

    (h) Don't be intimidated by the Irish language signs in public places. It's easy! For example with toilet signs - Mna = Males, Fir = Females. Also... "Na Caith Tobac" = "We love smokers!" Simple - eh?

    (i) Too tense before the match? Spend a relaxing Saturday afternoon duck-shooting in Stephen's Green. A member of An Garda Siochana (National Rifle Association) will be more than happy to lend you his fire-arm for the afternoon.

The register link brinks up a standard signup page, have barely restrained myself from doing it:)
