    So what do you peeps think? I'll probably get it just cause I liked the books, but some of the models look nice.

    Could be cool to convert and paint the Fellowship in the manner that you always envisaged them :) Is the system very different to normal GW stuff? I heard that it was, but that was pre-release rumour.

    All in all, it just looks like another money spinner for GW, but despite my cynacism, i'll probably buy it anyway :) Something new to paint :D

    It always is :)

    Looks lovely. This month's White Dwarf (Games Workshop's monthly magazine) has a whole section devoted to it including a battle report.

    Personally, I didn't read it because I don't want to know anything of the film yet (yes I know how the story goes, but you know what I mean).

    Tbh Kharn, theres not much about the film plot in it. Loads of painting tips and walkthroughs tho, so newbie 40k ppl and old school 1st ed players give it a look. Theres always something new to try out after reading it. Well sometimes :)


    That said, loved the Tau vs Nids battle report! DeV be warned, we have found your weakness! Although I'd almost lose the Kroots for some more firepower, or at least give the Kroots a nice hvy weapon :)


    I can see the gibs, and primordial ooze now.....:D

    Never really was into actually playing the games by the rules
    But i saw the LOTR models yesterday and i want me those Nazgúl. :D I'll probably by the Fellowship kit and the Nazgúl and paint them.. They will be exactly like i read the book... And i'll be painting them with Massive Attack and Pink Floyd in the background (my LOTR personal soundtrack :))......
