upgrading cpu

    whats the fastest athlon a kt7-Raid can take?
    i have a 1ghz in it
    i might want to upgrade when it cant chug those polygons anymore.

    A 1400 Athlon Thunderbird, I think... running on a 100MHz FSB.

    Remember, the KT7-RAID is hindered by it's KT133 chipset... at least in the choice of FSB speeds. I'd recommend getting a new motherboard first (preferably an EPoX 8KHA+ ;) ), and trying it on a 133MHz FSB, even if that entails dropping the multiplier.
