Experience of last days in US

After the movers took my stuff out I took 3 years worth of small change to the local shop to get cashed (filled the bottom of a backpack).

After an hour arguing with the management proving that I did in fact put $280 in change into thier coinstar machine (which involved them checking the machine logs and video feed!) I bopped off to the movies.

I forgot all about the "no backpacks" rules they have in movie places now. I walk in the door and immediatly a security says I can't come in.

So I tell him he can take the bag and look after it. Tells me he can't do that.

So I tell him it's empty and show him (has 1 pen), and he still won't let me in. So I tell him how about I leave it outside. So he says OK.

THIS IS FRICKIN STUPID. He lets me leave it beside the door into the place (no one nicked it, surprised they didn't have a hazmat team when they saw a bag there).

10 minutes later a woman is let in with a shopping bag. I gave out to the security and had another security guard standing behind me like I was going to do something. Anyway I just went to watch the movie.

Coming out it's a bit later and there are more people there. Anyone who says there isn't segregation happening in the US is smoking crack.

I watched as 3 people were turned away with backpacks/bags who looked Indian and white people with bags and backpacks let in. Made me f'ing sick to watch.
