UDF Vs ISO

    what is the differance between UDF and ISO? I just noticed them when using nero 5.5

    at the simplest level: UDF specifies the writing to cds in a packet form... with an ISO format its done via a single image.

    Most cdrw drives come with packet writing (udf-based) software so you can use the drive like a harddisk (albeit a slower one), only problem is older drives may not be able to read the cds.
