Isnt football turning out great!! I mean, people say that bigger clubs are just getting bigger and bigger. True, but smaller clubs are growing faster!

I mean, teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Juventus are supposedly among the best, yet they can go and lose easy fixtures.

And it was only last year that leeds beat Lazio away! Smaller teams are definately getting better and are catching up. Even in the premiership - in the past 2 years newly promoted teams are kickin everyone's asses!!!! sorry Man U fans but why the hell did bolton beat ye at old trafford!!!! :)

De reason bolton cud b 1 of a number of reasons.

United just had a bad day!
Fergie didn't give them enough respect.
United are ****, which i doubt and their Premiership record speaks 4 itself

But about small clubs. I agree totally. They are growing quicker and faster and are doing better. but in the end they still won't compete with the likes of Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid.:p

Then explain to me why Juventus lost last night, and why Barcelone are barely winning all their matches!

And Lazio is the perfect example- they have a world class team and yet they struggle to qualify.

Then explain to me why Juventus lost last night, and why Barcelone are barely winning all their matches!

Both teams had already qualified thru their groups & rested half their teams as theres a lot of games to come in the season. Winning meant a lot more for Glasgow Celtic supporters & players last night than their Juventus opponents. For Celtic it was big step up in opposition whereas a bit of a step down for Juve.
And Lazio is the perfect example- they have a world class team and yet they struggle to qualify.

Lazio may have world class players but if they can't qualify theu obviously haven't created a world class team out of them!
