    Hey guys,

Theres is still a problem with the dynamic menus in various Netscapes.

This seemed to be a minor problem before, I remember it being fixed quite rapidly last time it was mentioned... is there a significant problem this time? Or is this another move to force us Microslop upon us? :)

Workarounds: move the Forum jump thingy to the top of the page (it's miles down, even in 1280x1024 with small fonts) or something?

    Yeh Cloud knows about it.

hows it goin Cloud? Did you check the dhtmlcentral.com forum??
Usually if you just post up the source code somebody usually gets back to you soon. I was using netscape 4.6 in college today and it still comes in w/ the navy background.

    **2 mins l8r**

I just had a look @ the code there. The table background is #000066 (navy-ish). I had a prob a while back like that w/ some dhtml menus and I tried just putting....
color="transparent" and AFAIR it worked. Worth a try or else try dhtmlcentral.com

    Hi 80p/troj.

I tried the color=transparent thing but no luck so will try dhtmlcentral.

    Cheers John.

btw you around for a pint Friday 23rd? Me and Ed are graduating, it's on in the RTC/Corrib GS, but I'd say we'll be in town for pints after.

Not sure Al. Will know closer to date.

No response from dhtmlcentral.com :/ We'll see what problems remain after an upgrade to vb 2.2.0.

Is this because Netscape doesn't handle cell colours properly? This is the code that's showing it navy, what do we need to replace it with?
    <tr><td bgcolor=#EEEEEE onmouseover="if(this.style)this.style.backgroundColor='#FFFFFF'" onmouseout="if(this.style)this.style.backgroundColor='#EEEEEE'">
      <font face="verdana,arial,helvetica" size="1" >
      <a title="12-11-2001 03:48 PM" href="/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=25">Programming</a>
      </font></td></tr>

In other news, I saw this earlier, just under the "Boards.ie" logo:
    *&#189;ref=@p://2&#189;0boars&#8240;e/cgi-bin/webadverts/ads.pl?banner=NonSSI;page=972;zone=vbulletin" target="_top">

Prolly just JB hacking the ads?

    Al.
