I have my sat set at 13 degree's east,

can i get a cards to unlock channels ?
who supplies cardss

You could call some of the channel providers and ask them to provide you with a viewing card but i had no sucess with that.
i was trying to get a viewing card for the F1 coverage but no luck.


so instead you can use a CAM with a programmed Gold card and decrypt the channels for nothing but this requires about £600 initial investment but it will be returned to you.

Thanks for the plug, dvb shop is definitely cheaper on cams not sure on receiver as they dont stock the model we sell. If I wasnt for % vat maybe we could match the prices. Oh well must find out who supplies his cams.

A friend of mine might be able to get you a F1 card if you still want one, you know it's on the Italian Telepiu' package in SECA? Are you on SECA yourself?

The gear for programming cards wouldn't cost that much, programmers are only 30 - 50 quid and blank gold smart cards are around 10 quid each. You can also decode channels through a season interface which requires a total investment of about 30 quid but that requires your decoder being hooked up to your PC as your watching the channels. However these methods can be a pain in the ar$e for the average Joe as you have to know what your doing and where to get codes.
