Eicon diva isdn card, and freebsd

These two don't work together, basically from a lack of driver support and looking around on the web I can't see any solution to it. Now it seems possible to get the card working in redhat 7.1, but I'd rather stick with freebsd. I'm just wondering does anyone have any experience with this combination?

    anyhmmm
hmmm ok, from what I can tell you may need to recompile your kernel with

    device isic0

    options EICON_DIVA

    you might need

    pseudo-device "i4bisppp"

You could have a look here
    http://www.ie.freebsd.org/handbook/isdn.html
    or possibly in
    /usr/share/examples/isdn

also you may have to include
    controller card0
    device pcic0 at card?
    device pcic1 at card?
or have a look at this

The actual problem seems to be that it is a particular version of the eicon diva (eicon diva pro 2 ) which is an active isdn card rather than a passive one. This means that it has a dsp from analog devices on the card, which takes care of work the cpu would normally have to do. Nice and all, but it stops it working, even in linux, where the hisax driver won't detect it. Ah well, looks like I will have to swap it for something that will work. :) Thanks anyway.
