A movie where Jet Li travels from universe to universe killing off the other hims in the alternate universes in order to gain their power?

Jet Li grabbing the front axel of a motorcycle, and attacking someone with it?

A movie that has the guy who played Turkish from Snatch?

Hot damn I smell a winner!

yea, it sounds like it could be good... it would need to be seen as Jet Li turned down his role in The Matrix Reloaded for it!

Poster looks very 'X-Men' though... and 'The One'? - hmmm, prehaps he was bitter towards the Matrix crew for not offering him enough $$$ (the reason he turned it down).

....whens it out anyway?

From what I can make out from the pic, I think its set for November 2 2001, but I think thats the us release date !

UCI just had their staff preview of it on uh.. Monday, so it'll probably be out pretty soon.

Its been out on region-1 DVD for over a month.
It's pretty good I think - IF you turn your brain off. A kind've Highlander meets Timecop. Sure there are plenty of holes in the whole underlying principal but it's a good action flick nonetheless.

Funny That.. I just bought it on DVD here in the US..
So, by the time I get home on Saturday, I'll have it on DVD prior to its Irish cinematic release..

Saw it last night..... it was very good (but not brilliant). Martial Arts sequences were excellent (done with strange sped up/slowed down camera work) and looked amazing. The final fight between the two Jet Li characters was very good. The story is pretty original.

But..... script isn't great, film is too short, and Jet Li is an awful actor!

Its what you'd expect from a Jet Li movie but to be honest in my opinion, he shuda done the matrix, if that was an option...

Saw it last night after the pub, garbage im afraid. The final fight scene in Eastern Condors owns the final fight in this, as do many others.

One thing I did like was the slow mo technique used to show U Laws speed when beating people into philadelphia cheese. Thing is though, if he can punch holes through solid steel why do people only get bloody noses from a punch?:rolleyes:

Caught this one and saturday , have to say its the funniest movie I've seen in ages !! Beaten the <rap out of some one with a motorsysle - classic!

i thought this was terrible, in fact it ranks up ther with Species 2 and Deep Impact as the worst movies I've paid in to see at the cinema.

Jet Li is a hopeless actor, Turkish from snatch was trying to have an american accent or sth and just sounded stupid.

I like martial arts movies and I know you should never expect a gtreat plot or script from them, but this one was particularly weak.
Also there's nothing better than a great martial arts fight scene, but in this movie so much of it is done with special effects, like when someone is fighting themself you have to wonder how much of it is gonna genuine martial arts talent. Jet Li is talented enough not to need all the ridiculous effects. the effects weren't even that smooth, it got very blurry during a lot of it.

Just watched it there, its not too bad, The bloke from snatch has a bogey american accent and some of the effects werent great, but the storyline wasnt that bad kinda kung fu movie/Sci Fi, Jet is a muck actor but thats not what its about.
