Well POP would tend to mean Point-Of-Presence, not neccsarily a mail server, could also be dialup cfg MiCr0?

If you're on an eircom free service, the email is mail2.eircom.net

Hey there, any of you experienced problems with Eircom on iOS. I can download all the email in the account but don't seem to be able to send emails. Thoughts?

You can only send emails via eircom's SMTP server if you're using an eircom connection.

    Which is your ISP?

Now that is some bump! Last post in 2000! Eircoms pop servers are either webmail.eircom.net, mail1(or mail2).eircom.net. If your internet provider for broadband is different to eircom, i.e: vodafone etc. you'll need to use their SMTP server to send mail. If you need further help start a new thread :)

    Thanks

    Nick
