who d'ya reckon is the best ISP?

Not enough cash for ISDN, so I'm looking for a good connection (in terms of telephone line).

And DONT even think of suggesting eircom. They're ******! Complete ****e!

Had zero connection over the weekend (or for the past two weeks fro that matter) redial 5 times (at least) to get connected due to a 'busy line' , hten you can't get to any pages without the entire thing timing out. When I DID manage to get to a page, it took 2 hours to get a 480k download.

So, shouldn't be too hard for another ISP to beat that record, should it?

I recommend indigo. No busy tones and a rock solid fast connect.

I'd also check out your modem settings.

You get the odd busy message with Indigo, but nothing like as often as f*&!#? eircom.

It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.
