On Net2s blizzard of odd they regularly have clips from what they claim is Channel2,Irelands only satellite channel.Does the channel actually exist or is it just an excuse for RTE comedy ppl to very humourisly act the bollix without bringing the great RTE name(!)into disrupute?Or is it some kinda local cable channel?

    There's no such channel.

    It's what RTE considers funny.

Before you jump on RTÉ for having rubbish comedy, let me just say that I think that 'The Blizzard of Odd' is the best (home grown) comedy show to ever grace the small screen ...

    so there

It's so good that I turned down an appearance on it. They wanted me to do a piece about my TV website and old TV logos, and the fascination I have with them, but sensing a urine-take, I politely declined.....

They were very interested in the Transdiffusion project though.....

you were right not to get involved-taking the Mick out of someones interest in this kind of thing , would be an attack on us all!!!
That said however, I agree with the BARD and think that show is hilarious-only Dom jolly's show makes me laugh louder.

Blizzard of Odd isnt as good as DFTG but its still a very good show.
Trigger Happy-what a load of bollocks. The ppl hes trying to trick never even respond to him at all!!!I mean,i watched it a few nights ago and some big rabbit or something got into a lift. The man in the lift hardly batted an eyelid! It dosent work cos the public dont care!!!Its like on DFTG when Fr Brian went on the underground. In Ireland ppl join in his songs and stuff but in London they didnt give a shiny ****e about any of it.
