Anyone watch this at the weekend?

For those who didn't see it, this is what they came up with (from memory):
    1. Star Trek
    2. Doctor Who
    3. Red Dwarf
    4. THHGTG
    5. Thunderbirds
    6. Blakes 7
    7. Sapphire and Steel
    8. The Tomorrow People
    9. Buck Rogers
    10. Space: 1999

    Not sure about the order.

    John.

I know these are all still rather recent Series but I have to say I don't know how something like Saphire and Steel out-did Bab5 \ Earth: FC \ StarGate...

Yeh, a very homemade tv slant on the ratings there for sure.

Remember that Space 1999, on saturday mornings. T'was very good at the time.

And who can forget staring at the stars, listening to theme music at the end of each buck rodgers episode!

But .. wheres BattleStar Galactica ?
At least as good as Blakes 7 ...

And WTF happened to Colin Baker, he looks more like William Hartnell now - much older looking than Tom Baker.

no surprise on the number one slot or even number two but the rest are dodgy.

its sad when aba5 dose not even get a mention.

even tho it was a channel 4 audience (which explains some of the choices) one would think that there would be a few different choices up there.

I know it was a channel four audience but even then it seems strange that Bab5 didn't get a mention as Channel4 actually aired the series BEFORE america once or twice...

Nothing could ever approach the greatness that was B5. Best sci-fi show for decades.

I think the line above says it all...

Cloud, I think you told me what this was at lunch one day, but I'm damned if I remember any more...

    tsk, tsk

Once again Glenroe is overlooked in the best science fiction category.

those haircuts ... those clothes ... those surreal plots ... those funny looking extras in the bar scenes ... honestly it made Star Trek look real
