7 - 1 As a Blackburn fan I was delighted to see this one in the pub, best score since the 7 - 3 drobbing of Sheff Weds about four years back. Hopefully this will get BB firing on all cylinders and David Dunn (a midfielder who scored 24 goals last season in Div 1.) into the England side (instead of captaining the under 21 side). I would also note that neither Damien Duff or Keith Gillespie were playing, both of whom are in inspired form.

But on a sombre note I was sad to see WestHam in such a sorry state. There is no way they can hope to keep Sinclair, Di Canio and Kanute with the was they are sliding. These players at least did not throw in the towel, even at the very end. But considering the wealth of talent that has come through the Westham ranks it is a sorry state for a Premiership club to be in. I do hope they survive, but even this early on they do look like relegation fodder....:(

I reckon Glen Roeder will be looking for a new job soon.

    Gandalf.

Yeah its funny how The Rovers always seem to hammer a team nearly every year or two.As you said before Shef Wed also Nots Forrest and Norwich .It was just one of those days were Rovers were on the top of their game and The Hammers were on the bottom of theres. How stupid were the directors sacking Redknapp ,they must have known they would loose Kewell if Redknapp left.I hope to see them go down this season .Them and Arsenal (snigger:p )

    What a result.

And Dre, you are absolutely right about us hammering a team each year, but you forgot the last premiership whipping we handed out,(before Wham) 5-0 at highbury!

    Gwan the rovers!

Well that was a Cup match (I assume you are referring to last years highbury result). That little slight will be rectified this Saterday (hopefully).

No need to get defensive, I just pointed it out, as Arsenal are such a good team, the result is all the more impressive.

And as for saturday, you can be sure it wont be easy. If the rovers play well, they are well capable of taking something from the match.
