MMORPG - Runescape, excellent and free

    Found an interesting game programmed in java and vrml (and very stable) that is free and has great graphics. A 500k download is required and there after conection is very fast. RuneScape is run on 4 Mirror servers with about 1200 people on each at any given time. Its fantasy based with character classes and skills, reminds me of Baldurs gate or UO - but of course simpler. It is easy to pick up and there are plenty of quests.

    If you manage to get on-line post here if you want to start up an adventuring group. It is not really turn-based but runs on a real time action points system. Characters are very customisible and there is a large variety of weapons, armour and a few spells (which I have yet to explore). If you are wondering about I am on mirror server 1 or 2 (of 4) and an called "Ivarr", a warrior class. See u in RuneScape......:D

    Me thinks it sucks, play DIASPORA you can get it here DIASPORA and you also need the patch200.zip which can be gotten here HERE .
    atm, the game is down while they fix the code and server etc... but i will post when its up and let ya all, should be soon. also a number of DIASPORA players are making a new game, i will keep ya posted on that too.

    I think it will be a long time before Diaspora is back up.

    And Mick, I am on Server 1, curently doing the Orc Armour Quest and working on my smithing....
