    Last night about 8.00pm I heard an acoustic cover version of the Wedding Present's Octopussy. It reminded me of what a good song it is. Anybody know who it was?

    Aside: Does anybody think that Dudleys singing voice is sometimes very like David Gedge. Not that theres anything wrong with that...

    The acoustic version's by Martin Finke and, like the original, it's very good indeed.
    I could be wrong but I think it's Steve Fanagan who made him "BIG" to us :o)
    There are a couple of Finke's CDs on his Mango Music record label in the studio.

    Dudley, you can't sing alright :o) ...but Your Lonely World is excellent nonetheless.
