What happens after 12 months subscription

    Hi everyone,

    Can anybody tell me what cover if any, us Irish Sky Digital viewers have after our 12 months sub is up ? I see that our neighbours in the Uk can take out cover for call outs and on their boxes.

    Get yerself a screwdriver and a soldering iron :)

    But seriously.. if sky dont come up with something, maybe those folks at TV/Video repair shops will lend their expertise to digibox repair. Either that or we'll see sky installers repairing boxes.. its a crazy world, anything can happen!

    We can get them repaired using an outsource company but I should advise that repairs so far have been £80 plus on average.
    I guess its like cellphones in that respect get em for half nothing but expensive to repair. To be fair to the repair company they do have to invest quite heavily in equipment dedicated to digibox repair.
