    The Govt. is offering Local Communities 20 million Euro to build broadband infrastructure

    Application Document

    You have until October the 19th to convince your local county councillors to 'sponsor' your project, and request the money.

    Are there many people out there developing community broadband projects? An example of one from Sweden is attached below:

    Amusingly, programme line B: "This programme is aimed at addressing geographical deficits in the availability of DSL services."

    What? Is this suggesting that some areas of Ireland don't yet have DSL?
