    Hi all,
I am an unhappy Chorus customer in Limerick City (join the list) and want to get sky digital, but at present we have a chorus subscription with sky sports 123 + premier and have put futher cable via a booster from the decoader to 4 t.v's. The picture is extremly poor but each family member watches different programs (so what ya gonna do).

Therefore is there any or will there ever be, a way (that doesn't cost a fortune) to watch different channels on multiple tv's using Sky Digital ??

and finally (really sorry bout' all the questions) :-))
can I get BBC1+2, ITV and Chanel4 for free by getting an English card and using it in Ireland ?

    Many thanks in advance.

To watch sky independantly on 4 tv's you will need a Quad LNB 4 digi boxes and 4 viewing cards with seperate subscriptions.
i would say about £1200 worth of equipment+subscriptions.
and dont moan about it, thats just the way it is with SkyDigital.
With any other Satellite package you could get away with 1 or even 0 subscriptions but you would still need the hardware.

Currently in the UK, Sky will give you a second card with a duplicate of your existing subscription for an extra £12Stg.

    It sucks...but there you go....

You will have exactly the same problem when Chorus change you over to Digital (or any digital cable service for that matter). You need a box on top of every TV....i.e. more cost.
