    Hey guys,

While I appreciate the direct form email feature, but I would still like to be able to view the email address in a users profile when that user has enabled that particular option: is there some way to renable this?

I would argue that it's better that the email address *isn't* shown - in that it stops spammers and spambots alike from culling email addresses from the site.

However, I agree that it should probably be optional.

I was going to say that I disagree with both of you, until I realised that you both agree with me (no, it's not that obvious from what you said).

John/Tom/Drone[X], we've now got 3 "requests" ;) for this feature to be reenabled: any chance of breaking out vi and hacking some code for us? You could always put in some spamguards in there if necessary.

I'll even give you some reasons if you like :)

    Cheers,
    Al.
