I was just wondering what are the best html books that one would buy or borrow, one that starts from the ground up, i.e for beginners.
The same for ASP C++ too.

    thanks.

W3 Schools are good for HTML/DHTML/XML/ASP/Loads of stuff.

C++ in Plain English is an excellent book for learning. Plus it comes with a comprehensive reference section too. I'd recommend it to anybody, and it's going for a song

   -la!

Bruce Eckel's Mindview site has a number of free ebooks, including C++ and Java.

    Or you could learn VB.
