    This thing seems to have a mind of it's own, it changes channels hours before it's supposed to...

    Any ideas/solutions/similar experiences?

    I had a problem where some entries got stuck in the planner and the same as yourself where the channels would change without warning.
    I did a forced upgrade and this seems to have sorted it. No probs for the past fortnight (fingers crossed;)).

    To do a forced upgrade unplug the box, remove card, press and hold back-up(as far as I can remember, but its in a post somewhere here just have a touch of memory block) and power on holding the button in. eventually a screen appears saying updating software.

    I was quite happy to live without the new EPG and PP software but unfortunately the box was auto upgraded the other night.

    I've noticed one problem with a phantom prog set in the PP which I didn't select? When the time for the prog came I got a prompt to say do I want to watch or ignore. Pressing either option didn't work: the option kept coming back and the only way to get rid of the damn thing was to power down the box.

    Has anyone else seen this issue?

    Does anyone know if the new PP trys to predict your viewing preferences by auto picking what you might like (and hence the unexpected prog being selected in the first place).
