Obvioiusly want a big crowd from boards and poker .ie as part of it will be a comp between both sites somesort of a perpetual cup perhaps.

This is a good idea, I personally don't post on Poker.ie, but I know alot of others post on both, so I was just wondering what is the general consensus of people who are regular posters on both, as to the standard of each, i.e. which site seems to have the higher level of analysis, players, etc, etc......
Who would go into this competition as favourite?????? :) Are the main actors in each the same people??

this is one that I am not laying any money on as it would depend greatly on who plays for which team.
sugest a captain for each and up to them to get their team in order. bidding should be highish for say nicky etc who posts on both.

Mike (Shortstack) running 250 FO in Drogheda on Sunday 5th Feb, I'd expect plenty of boardies will be in that.

If I'm not mistaken, this is first of monthly events, so the March tourney could clash with your date.

They are a once off that may continue if that makes any sense. The Wednesday night Freeroll which starts next week will be ongoing.

Ours is on on A Friday night as opposed to Sat for the joeshow.
We have arranged a special rate in the 2 hotels.( we are trying to decide on which hotel to go with.) one a 3 star @ 35pps or a 4 starwith safe in room for 99 per double room. the former is in the middle of town while the latter is a few miles out.

We are hoping that a boardsand poker.ie crew will come down and compete between the sites as well, I have the trophy arranged.
I would sugestn that a weekend of it could be had, roscrea FRiday night, sunday dundalk

The date will be finalised later today I hope.

We have changed the date by a week It will be on on Friday 24th February in Grants hotel, Roscrea in aid of the scouts. I will post the full details on a seperate tread. The change is to allow the boards&poker.ie crews to battle it out for the prize. This way we will avoid the joeshow and joe and his crew can come down , we will also miss the shortstack tourney.
There is therefore no excuse for u lot not to come down.
    same deal with hotel €35pps b&b .
