hey shane i'm sure u would been proud of the deal we done - before deal, 1st €1500 2nd €800 3rd €500 4th €300 5th €100 - after deal, 3 of us took €465 each, sean from cavan took €705 and pat vickers took €1100 not bad considering i was the shortstack and hadn't won a sigle hand on the final table. such was the hostility at the table it was probably a good thing in the end i think sean wants to kill me for some reason...

if the stacks were the same when i went out in 10th its ok, sean had a huge stack when i left, the deck hit him in the face and he then began to lecture the table on how to play. he 55k the rest of us had 5k each.
will you be heading in tonight

Sounds blood curdling, only a matter of time before the chicken skewers are used for something not desinged for!.

he had one guy in a hissy fit because he cracked jj with 98. and another guy with kk vs 88.
i didn't mind to much our table was totally shorstacked average 5k everyone seemed to be hanging on for the final table even though there were only 5 pricez.

from what i could see sean wasn't really taken the tourny very seriously and was going in with pretty much any two cards

true he seemed very lax at my table but then againhe had over 50k and couldn't miss a card i'd be very relaxed in that position too.

no that was one of my mates, guy called seamus. i was the guy who came in on joe's left when he got to keep the button and i had to sit out.

the guy sean pissed away his chips but then got most of them back by calling 2 all ins for all his chips with KT. he was very aggressive towards me and wouldn't shut up after he raised me all in and I folded when i was 2nd in chips at that stage. he's still real bitter about the way i knocked him off the 270 final table back in may with my trip sevens.

i won't be heading in tonight because i'm absolutely wrecked and hate rebuy tourneys, but i'll definitely be back there soon. nothing like celebrating a decent result with unlimited free booze!

Not sure where you were sitting then, i was to joe's left during the k9 the dodgy player to normans left was the guy who wouldn't check down the pot when i was all in with nothing...after a bit of dodgy semi-bluff with AQ

Actually I can't call it a semi bluff by the turn it was an out and out bluff :D

I just rechecked where I seen it and it is 75+5 with 1 rebuy/topup.

Apologies. I think I will give it a go anyways, been meaning to call down there for a while but between one thing or another I haven't had the chance except last night when I played the scalps anyways.

Ah I came in to your right just before the all in call with k9

and then the same guy seamus did me for my stack with 3 7's

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 441 ✭✭De Deraco

its a 75 rebuy should be good only proper tourny on a saturday imo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,288 ✭✭✭✭ntlbell

I don't like re-buys, i think a 150e deep stack freezeout would be great for a saturday night

I hope i wasnt the dodgy player.

my first time playing in a dublin casino and I didnt see a decent hand most of the night. so played as tight as a homophobes behind.

went all in with AJ against AK hit a J on the flop but AK rivered the straight.
not a bad beat at all at all. really enjoyed it and prolly be there on thursday for the double chance.

only got to know a couple of ppls names like Shane. nice to meet ya btw.
