Dragonball Z Budokai....HELP!!!

The new dragonballz budokai game 'tenkaichi' is kick ass! Except for 1 thing....you know in the Evolution Z mode, you can fuse items in the item fusion option. But it doesn't tell you what you can fuse. Anytime i pick 2 items, master roshi tells me i cant do it! I've tried every item!! WTF??!!
