Right so im saving up for the core system of the xb360. im nearly there. i probably wont be gettin it ontil January. Would I still have to preorder in the shop or will there be more of them released in Ireland by then? help me! :cool:

i'd seriously reconsider your plan. Woudl you not wait until you have the extra 100 and get the full package? well more than 100 quids worth of extras included.

Yeah get the full package, the core system is a false economy. For an extra 100 notes you're getting the HDD, headphone set, wireless joypad and silver xbox live subscription which in total (if you were to buy individually), would exceed €100.

Anyway, if you get the core system, you'll have to buy a memory card which'll be around €40-€50 which will almost total the cost of buying the full package. I think it's safe to say, after the initial rush, the price is still going to be a bit too much for the masses and that will mean there will be a good few 360's available come mid January.

Yes i know but im not really a mad gamer. I stilll use my PSX and thats about 10 years old yeah? The last few months ive been playin with my mates XB with him and its brill.It doesnt bother me what package is B/W compatable because i dont have any original XB games. Might just go for the Full pack with all that stuff. Thanks guys

get the full pack if you can. even get a loan of 100 bucks from your parents and pay them back.

they say you wont require the HD to play games but word on the street is, in a year or so games'll absolutely require it
