Is C4/E4 available on FTA? Also, any cartoon channels

    Channel 4 and E4 are not available through the Lidl sat.

    The BBC's kids channels are.

    Neither C4 or E4 are FTA.
    C4 is FTV. It requires an FTV card from the UK to watch it.
    E4 can only be viewed if you have a Sky subscription.
    CBBC and CBeebies are the only FTA kids channels I can think off but there are more. ITV are launching CITV on satellite coon.

    Yes there are. All EPG kids channels are located between Channels 601-622, so one should just flick through that range and the free ones will be viewable.

    CBBC & CBeebies can be tuned in under 'Other Channels' [ details on the sticky at top of Satellite page on this site ].

    CITV is on ITV1 between around 3.20pm-5pm every day [ obviously free since 1st Nov ].

    CBBC & CBeebies change to BBC3 and BBC4 after 7pm, so if you store BBC3/BBC4 on a NON-Sky box, it will be CBBC/Cbeebies during day.

    I thing plan is to have whole day CITV on the ITV4 channel as ITV4 is like BBC3/4 evening only.
