Coldplay - the next U2

Did you see the mtv music awards trhingy last night. Is it just me or did Coldplay look like a U2 cover band? It wasnt in an irritating way it was more like a "Ah bless 'em, Chris is trying hard"

Looking the way they do is bad enough but to look like a u2 cover band is even worse. Both bands are muppets.

It's well known that Chris is trying to get the band to U2 status.
He mentioned that during the recording of X&Y, he had a photo of U2 on the studio wall so they could aspire to it.

It's never gonna do you harm if you follow in the footsteps of them... you're just opening yourself up to a huge recording buying market.

Lol, Coldplay are like a watered down version of Radiohead mixed with U2, pretty damn bland if you ask me, listen to The Bends, not this Coldplay crap. Funnily enough Thom Yorke hates Chris Martin and Chris Martin admits to stealing many of Radiohead's ideas.
