...I'm finding it difficult to list these in order of preference...

    1. Jack Daniels
    1. Badger's Golden Glory
    1. Mai Tai
    1. Guinness
    1. Bombay Sapphire

But I also love red wine. And champagne. And cava. (Don't like white wine much, actually.) And Tanqueray gin. And stolichnaya. And Triple Sec. And manhattans. And cosmopolitans. And mai tais, if they're made well. And dirty martinis. And a range of ales. And chocolate stout. And lager. And weissbier. And bloody marys.

    In no particular order:

Finlandia vodka superchilled in the freezer - drank neat in shots
A nice single malt on the rocks, no water (e.g. Glenkinchie)
A hot Irish whiskey with a double helping of cloves (always Jameson)
An icecold Erdinger beer with food
Apfelsine - its a bit too much like drinking tasty applejuice though, until you discover you can't stand up.....
Poir Wilhelm - drink the alcohol and then see if you can battle the pear out of the bottle.
    Tia Maria with crushed ice
Courvoisier cognac - neat at room temperature, perfect for sipping.

I could go on and on..... mostly spirits I guess....

    Dutch gold.

I am sick to my back teeth of trolls posting Dutch Gold everywhere they can on this forum in the last few days. I'm amending the charter. And Ag marbh is banned.

Yeah got to admit I love the Kolsch, not a big fan of other German beers. I usually go for Reissdorf. I like Dom as well. My friends all drink Fruh but I'm not a big fan.

Dom is nice alright, Im fond of Gaffel Kolsch as well. I wish I could get it in off licences here.

Maisel's Weiss, for the very best!

    Moncshof Keller Bier, best ale.....

    Krombacher or Kitzmann for Pils....

It should be made law to sell good beer like this AND NOT rip us off.
Considering this beer is around 60c a bottle in a German Off Licence and about €2.60 in a German pub.

Unfortunately I do not aspire to anything Diageo or Interbrew throw at us.

You seem to be in to your German beers. Have you ever tasted Jever? I think it's just about the worst beer I've ever had.

Yeah, Jever is muck. They sometimes sell it at small town festivals, cheap and cheerful. Veltins is a lot better, must be ice cold!!

    1. The best ale in the world for me is Altbier. Ueriges, Fuechschen,Schumacher.

    2. The best pilsener beer for me is Jever. 10000 lightyears ahead of all others. If you think Jever is muck, go and get a set of tastebuds.

    3. Guinness is the only quality drink available to me in Ireland. Regrettably most pubs serve an awful pint. Exceptions are Linehans Trim and Mulligans Poolbeg Street. Please let me know where there is a 1st class pint still to be had in counties Trim and Meath please.

I try to avoid anything brewed in the US or UK. Both countries know absolutely nothing about brewing beer, microbreweries excluded.

    :)

You may want to re look at some of the U.K. breweries, some of the good ones are quite big
