There is no point bluffing on the tribeca network anymore. I had not played a hand in 1/2hr. This guy was limping in with any 2 pictures Ax, Kx all night... he got lucky to find AA when the CL had QQ but apart from that he fluked about 6 rivers... I reckon he called for his gut gut shot str8 draw

ps: bubble time too... maybe this guy had a note on me as I normally play aggresive on the bubble... ? I am lost.. but onething is for sure.. bluffing on tribeca is -EV

I think a bigger problem with the tribeca network is that the blinds go up so quickly all tournament turn into an all in crap shoot from about the three quarter stage.

Have to disagree ocallagh. Even in 10c/20c NL cash games on Tribeca, bluffing and continuation bets are extremely effective against the right opponent.

Of course there are fish that will call large bets with any 2 rags, ie Kx or Ax like your situation above.

In the long run the good players will clean these guys out. Just because he called your raise doesn't mean he played it badly. Maybe it was a good read from him.
