Really wanted to go, but someone had booked a holiday for me, without telling me, so I won't be here. Should be a really good gig.

Does anybody know if Fearghal McKee is planning any more solo gigs, and how the last ones went?

Not the most info you're ever gonna recieve, but you wanted to know about past n future gigs... There's been a few. Bit of a mixed bag. There was a great one with God is an Astronaut back in feb. Fantstic with new stuff recorded with them. The music was great. Really back on form and good news for Whipping Boy fans, but, alas, its unlikely to ever see the light of day.

Also played a few gigs with the Thrills. Other stuff's been a bit more left of field... looking for reaction more than anything... music, no...art, maybe! That kind of thing.

Solo stuff in future a little less likely. For now, he's focusing on preparing for the gig. There is another project, but all info there's under wraps. Let's just say keep your eyes open around January, and just after the gig. Can't really say anything, but it'll be good news if you like him!

If you wanna see him in the interim, check out Carnival on Camden St. in Dublin on Friday nights. He dj's there with a couple of others under the name 'Wartime Dj's'.

    Anyway, thats all i got,
    Mark

Don't know if its any use to you but a week after the Dublin / Cork dates Whipping Boy play The Forum in Waterford on Thursday December 29th.
