g'way with your region hack end up screwing up your drive. get VLC Media, skips through the region control so you can play whatever DVD from whatever region you please.

or decss+regionfree, runs in the backround whenever you are playing dvds
tells powerdvd etc whatever region info its expecting, also takes away, the copyright so you can back em up. and it only costs 35$
