    Hey!
I just bought a Dell Inspiron 9300 with a pentium m 1.86GHz processor but when I check the speed with Sisoft Sandra, it says that it runs a 798MHz. Anyone know why this is?

Speed step tech, it trottles the speed up and down according to how much you are using.

Exactly, overall it's a power saving feature as the cpu uses all the power.
