King Kong Trailer..!

It was put on KingIsKong.net and taken down less than an hour later by request from Universal.

But i tracked it down and put it on my webspace for you all. Not the best quality with a small TV logo in the top-right corner but will be on Apple.com (will update it here when it's up) in a day or two in nice FullScreen format.

Hmm, I can't get the video to play in Winamp, all I can get is the audio. Perhaps I'm missing a codec? :-/

as basquille said play it in VLC, that will play almost anything you throw at it!

Just watched it there, must say that being my first exposure to the film, I'm looking forward to seeing it! Class!

MP4 seems to try and open in my Winamp too but just open it in VLC Media Player as soundwave said.

I'm not too excited about this for some reason.. I've never actually seen the original, but I'm still not sure it can offer anything I'm unprepared for. Think I know the story too well just from word of mouth and so forth.

I can see why Universal wouldn't want that trailer. It shows a good deal of the main scenes. Looks like they go all the way with the action which is good but I probably still won't go see it.

Watched it, and I've got to say that I'm impressed! The action scenes look excellent, the re-match (hehe) between Kong and the T-Rex will be one of the scenes that I'll keep an eye out for. And Peter Jackson seems to have kept the plot of this film broadly in line with that of the original, which is another bonus.

All in all, I can't wait ti see it. Roll on December 14th indeed!

the original is still one of my fav films stil watch it every 2 weeks or so and seen that makes me wanna watch it again,Looks like jackson is staying well within plot of original. roll on december 14th i say i doubt i will be dissapointed

The trailer could have been better - maybe it's just the movie itself that's at fault.....It just does not look that exciting.

I've heard its going to be a 3 hour monster too.... Haven't had a good 3 hour movie since LOTR!

Looks absolutley excellent! I love the original its one of my favourite movies and there is no better person to do the remake than Peter Jackson. I personally usually dont like remakes but this one looks different.

The only concern I have is that given that the original was a little over an hour and a half and that the remake is supposed to be 3 hours or so, where is Jackson getting all the extra material from? I want him to stay as faithful to the original story as possible

Pretty much except for being released in New Zealand a day earlier (more than likely the premiere - didn't Jackson also do this for 'Return of The King'?)
