Do you ever see knee ride in MMA competition?

    The thought just occurred to me after training. Maybe it's a silly question but I've never seen it anyway. Vids anyone?

    I think you rarely see it in Pride and UFC because it's such a fleeting position and at that level of the game it's very hard to hold.

    In sub wrestling and the Irish League I've seen it used to good effect.

    I've seen it used alot of the time. Knee ride is frusterating when you are tired..

    Also, you can cup the back of the head to control the person even further. Alot of people like knee ride as it's easy to transition from position to position with it.. You have the option ot go to full mount, but if not, you can still go to side control or to north south.
