Worst sigs?

We already had one for best sigs... now it's time to do the honest thing and point out the worst sigs in your opinion.

Not particularly a sig but a category of sigs that annoy the piss outta me are those men holding the signposts saying "Your IP Address is X.X.X.X. You are running Windows XP Home. Your ISP is Eircom etc." and with a ever-so-witty comment after it!

Anyone else care to share?

Those spanners with the "Smoking Is Big And Clever" signatures make Pigheads blood boil.Its not often I agree with Melanie C but she hit the nail on the head when she declared "'I'd rather kiss a baboon's bottom than a smoker"
My great grandmother, the mother of my grandmother who passed, smoked ever since her early 20's, she died aged 104.Its almost definite she would have lived longer had she stopped when the docs told her.

i think people do that in the computer forums to make it easier for others to answer questions based on their specs.

Yeah it can definitely be handy alright.
But a lot of the time people with those sigs will post on non-computer related topics and still include the sig. (or at least topics that don't require people to know his specs)

Cant really say i've seen a sig that annoys me except for noobs with over-sized ones, but they're quickly sorted. But i must say, there isn't enough sigs like Sparky's

Newsflash: Quoting someone elses "wit" in your sig doesn't automatically mean you want to make yourself look smart!

I've turned sigs off here. I don't personally hate any sig, I just get annoyed at the massive ones with people making bizarre and off the wall statements that they deem incisive and witty. Whoever said they find the sigs with bits of conversations the user had with people, I agree!, what relevance is it to us?!

I like user made sigs, no matter how bad they are, that are always about the user him or herself...think that should be the only type of sig allowed

I haven't seen too many annoying sigs on Boards. Many other message boards have far more annoying signatures than the worst one here, believe me. Especially boards with over 100 smilies, some users take full advantage of that. *shudder*

Personally, i *hate* images in sigs. No matter how tasteful or whateva. Other peev's are those dynamic signs ( both the IP addresses and the online game stats ).

Meaningless bits of IRC conversations are also...pointless. Usually they are personal jokes. What's wrong with a simple 2 - 3 line plain text sig ( no colours! just plain black text ) anyway?
