Due to popular demand, Coolaboola Events have once again teamed up with The Triskel's "Springboard" to bring to the young music lovers of Cork, yet another "Alternative Afternoon". This very special intimate gig features some of the best up and coming singer songwriter talent from all over the country. Expect an afternoon full of great music, jokes, laughs and all the rest!

Niall Connolly, a native of Cork has made quite a name for himself through out the country as an established (and damn good!) singer songwriter. He takes a break from recording his upcoming album to grace the young 'uns of Cork with his oustanding musical presence at this very special, intimate gig.
"Niall Connolly writes intelligent, literate songs rich in graphic detail. Better still, he writes convincingly from his own experience and his heart. We don't have enough like him." Jackie Hayden- Hot Press

Tadhg Cooke is fast becoming a recognisable name in the Irish music scene. Having released his debut EP with Bellx1's Dave Gheraty and a follow up debut album "Wax & Seal", he has since toured all over the country and shared the stage with the likes of Bellx1, Damien Rice, Glen Hansard, Mundy, Damien Dempsey and Ronan O Snodaigh (to name but a few!).

Dublin duo Anima have been gaining exposure in many of the national newspapers and also featured on many of the countries major radio stations. They have been touring non -stop throughout the country and have supported the likes of Mark Geary, Aslan, The Fureys and many more in recent years.

Honest Spud Leonard - a singer of songs that he mostly wrote himself, he sings sad songs and happy songs in no particular order. Musicial colloborators are usually on hand. Big City folk music at it's best. Expect to be highly amused by wit!
