BSD ftpd on Debian Chroot problem

    Im using BSD ftpd on debain and when I use its chroot option the logins are chroot'd fine but I cannt get file listings. the files and dir's are still there (I can cd etc) but just invisible.

    Any ideas? Its a vanilla Debain install and ftpd is from the debiab packages.
