seeking a female singer

hello folks,
Hey how are you all etc... Well ive been making music for bloody ages now and i need to do something serious with all my crap. I make lots of different kinds of music, from rocknroll to folk to dance. I have a little problem with words, lyrical melodies are fine but i really have to work on the words!! I have an ok voice and i love singing but i would love to have a female vocalist for both lead vocals and backing to my own voice. Kind of a Damien Rice/lisa hannigan setup except my music is quite different and, frankly, much better!! ehem! Would also be nice if they could play an instrument but thats not too important.
I dont want to rush into gigging as im not even sure if i will be gigging. The musical is adaptable and so i dont yet know in what form i want it. Most of it is too complicated for a band but stripped down to the bare minimum (accoustic) these songs could be very nice. WOW i can waffle cant I!!!?
Really i want to make a beautiful album and then see what happens, someone with imagination would be nice! i have decent enough recording equipment and i will soon have lots of friendly access to a small but nice studio.

Oh my influences are pretty varied but heres a taster--- talking heads, air, bowie, bjork, gershwin, u2, lots of sixties soul, otis redding, marvin, marlena shaw, nina simone etc, death in vegas, van morrison etc etc just great songs really, doesnt matter who it is.

Well done though, I think you've just ensured that nobody here will ever want to be in a band with you.

huh? I'm so confused.... You left out a huge piece of info. And when someone asked you, you were a pr*ck about it. Do you think some girl is going to read this and say, " oh my GAWD!!! He's like SOOOO against the system!!! *drools*"

You also should mention how old you are, because frankly, you sound like a pi$$ed off 15 year old.

As far as im concerned; "Eh, it might help if you mentioned your location", does not sound very interested to me.
"Hi, i might be interested. Where are you located?". That would be interested.
All you had to do was ask, not try to sound clever. I would have been more than happy to reply and tell you and have a chat. And please stop pretending to be insulted.

And Did you really think that first reply sounded interested? Read it again. Im not 15 but im definitely pissed off.
By the way im here to find a female vocalist and thats it. I dont spend my time writing on internet boards for the bloody fun of it. Coz it aint fun.
I think ill take my seeking elsewhere. Thanks for waisting my time.
