i didnt know really where to put this so i said id try here first instead of PI. anyway was just wondering if its ok after you have broken upo with your boyfriend of a yeat to stay in contact with his friends? by contact i mean going for a pint/coffee have a chat etc, what friends do....
i broke up with the boy in nov04 and have a current boyf of 11 months and he isnt too happy about the situation and makes me feel bit guilty bout seeing them. i have no contact with my ex through the friends and neither do they.

You have to ask other random people their opinion before you act?

Nothing wrong with it, tell your b/f to wise up.

To be honest i dont think id be pushed on the idea either but hey it is 11months since the break up , but as long as it is only friends then i dont see the problem really.

there shouldnt be a problem, you made friends with his friends, so just because of a break up, your new friends dont have to suffer the tailback of the breakup.

i dont think there is anything wrong with seeing your ex's friends, after all they were your friends for the year you were going out with your ex... this happened to me a few months ago, broke up with my ex, and in turn lost contact with his friends, who played a major part in my life for the 5 years i was with my ex, still see one or two of them every now and again.. if your mates mean a lot to you, explain this to your current boyfriend, hopefully he will understand your dilemma... good luck

I love my boyfriend, so touch wood we won't be splitting any time soon, but if we did, and I didn't get to see his mates any more I would be devastated!
Seriously! Just because they where his friends first. doesn't mean they didn't become your friends, Im closer with some of my boyfriends mates now then he is (we have been together 2 years) they are definately my friends too... so if we did split, I don't think it would be right for my boyfriend to have a problem with me seeing them, infact it would be totally unfair!!

its be different if you wanted to go out with his friend and that made him uncomfortable, which even then shouldnt really be a problem since its been a yr

i think your lookin at it the wrong way they're not his friends they're people who he happens to be friends with if you wanna be friends with them its your choice

Are u absolutly certain one of them doen't fancy you?? seems a bit like that. You new boy friend is prob a bit worried because you were with him so soon after your last boyfriend he might think you have some unfinished business there. If its all harmless do what you think is right. The most important thing in a relationship is thrust.
