Uwe Boll is being similarly merciful by splitting his forthcoming $60 million production In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale into a two-part film to be released late next year
Someone needs to split him in half...

By splitting the film in two Uwe Boll is sure to have the first Lord of the Rings better under his belt.

60 Million though. Thats considerably higher then Alone in the Dark and House of the Dead put together.

Maybe with more money, he'll make a crap film that fails even more spectacularly, at least guaranteeing some amusement for us public.

Bloodrayne, can't wait to see that, it looks pants, but its got alot of decent actors in it....

Terrifyingly they are funded independently, mainly in Europe. As long as he can find suckers to pony up the cash he'll still be making films.

They do actually make money... His previous films have been quite low budget, even Alone in the Dark. And while that may have seemed like a failure, it wasn't. As long as it makes its money back it can be deemed a success as an independent feature.

i was aware that people hired him because there's tax exemptions in germany for "artists", and uwe boll is cheap anyway, so that's a benefit. but this tax exemption is thankfully being axed, making uwe boll too expensive to use (this was according to gamespot if i recall correctly)
