I noticed a lot of people mention them, so where do you get yours and how much do you spend on them?

$30 a doz in the US, buy a few and save on shipping.
That is if you like them and you dont destroy them too quickly...

Ebay is really good for cheap prov but they hit you with shipping. But then always search the lakes in your club.

Many summer evenings after playing a practice round I grab a caddy car drive to all the out of bounds and lakes and start hunting. But go to places where the good players go, you wont find a prov in a lake 3 feet in front of a tee box like i found out.

Par 4, 4th hole in hollywood lakes. 9 iron distance with two lakes in front of it. I took of me socks rolled up me cacks and jumped in and went hunting, found nothing but womens golf balls and other crap and it hit me, good players dont hit in this lake, and bad players dont use good balls =(

I bought refurbs once, man they suck big time.
After a couple of holes the cover is bearding badly, they are greyish and if you hit anything hard like a stone or a tree they cut.
Still it was only €20 for a doz

Hmm now that I think about it some more I usually get them shipped to the states and then sent over via a friend.
    Sorry! :o

5 handicap. I like the prov1's and am not too worried about the price. I haven't tried either of the other two ball types you have mentioned. From what I have seen on various websites there is no saving to be made by buying balls outside the country and having them shipped in. The same seems to be true for single clubs like drivers. I'd be happy to be proved wrong in either instance. I have seen savings for sets of irons in www.pricebustergolf.co.uk though.

I've started using maxfli revolution tours, £11 STG a dozen and I'm quite begining to like them. They play between a prov-x and the standard pro-v for a fraction of the cost.
Pinnacle extreme's are also supposed to be superb believe it or not. <----never thought i'd ever say that.
Havn't had a chance to try yet though.

I bought a taylormade Rescue club for 90 euros.. How much are they in the shops here? McGuirks online say 180.. My local pro-shop wanted 250 for an identical club..

I bought a bunch of used ones from Canda for about 20 euros, and for knocking around they are fine. In Carlow in the summer, some of the greens are almost impossible to hold unless you got a ball with high spin, this time of year it's not AS important. I'm off 12 atm.

I'll take a look at some of those other ones guys, thanks for the suggestions! I still like pro-v's though!

If anyone is looking for pro v1's I can provide any amount, now they are lake balls but beleive me they are the nearest thing to the real thing, no refurbs because they're cr.., you can check them out before you buy, Kilkenny ,Kildare , Carlow, Dublin is my route once a week , I can meet people anywhere within those regions, the price ranges from 1.75- 2.25 per ball depending on how many you want.
Why would anybody pay 50 euro for a dozen new balls , when you see the quality of these balls you will come back again and again.PH:)0860864419
