S5600 or Sony Dsc H1???Other?

I'm looking to get a good camera for around 400 to 500 and from what i've seen the fuji and sony are the best ones in this price range.Both having the 5M and having good zooms 10X and 12X, also both have manule funtions.

Is there any reason to get the sony over the fuji for an extra 100euro?is there any other camera to consider?

The Sony has image stabilization built into the lens which means you'll get less camera shake when you're zoomed in or on longer exposures. If you plan on using the full zoom without a tripod then this makes it worth the extra €100 IMHO

The LCD screen is considerably larger too at 2.5".

That on top of the extra reach makes it worthwhile I think.

Some of the guys that have it on dpreview.com say that Fuji's s5600 anti-blur and higher ISO (upto 1600) is better than IS. See some of the user reviews and comments at:

Looks to me like Anti-Blur is a shooting mode rather than a feature of the lens. From what I can gather its like Automatic Mode configured to get the highest shutter speed by adjusting the ISO. It can also fire the flash to freeze motion.

This would be useless in Manual or any other mode. Take a bit of time to learn the technique and you should be able to do that with any good camera.
