I want to add some more RAM to my PC. I've got a spare slot but I was wondering how do I know if the RAM I get is going to be compatible with my motherboard? Does anyone know of a site where I can check this out?

    Thanks.

Remove RAM board, check label for details, buy board with same details. Compatability problem resolved.

do you know what model motherboard you have? if so you should be able to check on the net which ram works on that board and hey presto

if you cant figure it out, try looking for the product key and checking that on the net, you might be able to check it that way.

Also try to fuigure out which ram you got, buy the same

true - but do NOT order from .com (US) - use EU or UK (*grumbles*)
    or try shop4memory.com

oh and Belarc Advisor is good for proving system info.
