Hi jus wondering what guys think of this scenario

Im a drug dealer who makes a great living from selling drugs like hash and coke i wear top clothes drive nice cars get up when i want and go to bed when i want. I dont have no real sympathy for the people who buy stuff off me or anything even though 2 or 3 of my cousins are addicts and i can see the effects it can have on families but im like so what its not my fault there weak and have no personal respnsibility and i feel like this with everyone who buys my stuff. i wanna get rich!.But the thing is my family are very well respected in a working class area because they are all hardworking decent people and id hate them to find out what i do. but the thing is although i sound like a scumbag i dont think i am i dont go around pushing drugs and would never sell to kids or ever dream about it i give money to charity and even help old ladies cross the road and try to help people in all walks of life except for people who LOOK for the supply of drugs if it wasnt me it wud be someone else. what am i gonna do it wud tear the heart out of my ma and da when they find out because they prob will find out what will i do and am i a scumbag??????

You said it. What is it with drug dealers that makes them real Me! Me! Me! people? Is there a dealer bible that says - rule #1 if I didn't supply then someone else would so I'm ok.

Question - do you have any morals? - cos the scumbag doesn't...

Just thinking too - seeing as boards are obsessed with the legalities of posting medial advice in PI - should they also report this guys ip address to the cops? After all to do otherwise would be no different than overhearing a guy next to you admit a crime and not report it.

If not, I can see where you're coming from, but still, dealing drugs is a mugs game. I'd buy extra for friends and pass it on, not making money or anything, but that's hardly the same.

You could develop a loyalty card scheme for your customers, give something back, as it were.

as far as I can remember, there's no obligation to report a crime.

OP > You are a scumbag. You make no effort to stop people decaying their lives further by preying on them in a vulnerable state. Granted, you say they come to you but, if you weren't there, they would find it easier to stay clean, and thus sort themselves out. I know you say that someone else would fill the void, but if that was the case, at least you would have a clear conscience and wouldn't jeopardise your familes' reputation and safety.

Do you reckon pighead would post that kind of story in the first person because 3rd person is normal speak for him? Or is it just absolutely everything to be said in the 3rd person?

Regards if there wasnt a drug dealer that was selling to one particular addict it would be easier for them to come clean? i dont think so there is always someone willing to fill the void if an addict really wanted to give up they wud. im not defending scumbag dealers but what if someone was addicted to alchol should every pub be closed down in their vicinity so they can try so stay clean?.

Which is another question i can never really understand there are a lot of people who do drugs at the weekend like police officers solictors doctors parents and they can control it in the same way as i can control my few drinks at the weekend but every time someone gets addicted its "scumbag dealers" yet every time another alcholic pops up you never here of the scumbag publican who kept serving the alcohol on his premises?

but i must once again state that i am no drug dealer just interested on peoples views on these issues

What about a moral obligation?

There's no obligation to help at an accident.
There's no obligation watch a girl get raped for example and try intervene.
There's no obligation to report a drunken driver you see going up the wrong lane of the naas dual carriageway.

It's a drug dealers world.

I suspect that this is a p1sstake but on the small change it isint...
Are people not suspicious that you drive a car etc?
Do you have a cover up (day) job?
What would ya ever do if ya got busted bad and were thrown in jail? Would your life be so sweet then? You wouldnt be able to help old ladies cross the street anymore!
