only able to store 3 "other channels"

Its great news that ITV is now FTA. my only problem is that my new pace box will only save 3 channels in the other channels section.

If I save more than 3 they get deleted as soon as I use any interactive service on any channel.

For example if I store BBC news 24, BBC3, BBC4 and UTV then go to Sky news extra when I go back to other channels theyre gone. If I only store 3 they will still be there.

Anyone else having this problem? anything I can do to fix it?

    Daniel

    yeah its a real pain.

Its only a new sky install, only in since end of June and a brand new pace box (cant remember the model - one of the small new ones that they show on their ads)

Other people have said that "pressing the red button" wipes their other channels if they store a lot of them but 3 is a joke

Yeah i had the same problem aswell last night watching Champs league.
I had stored BBC3,4, news ITV 1,2,4 and UTV and same thing got wiped when used interactive.
I have my SKY nearly two years and it is also a Pace box and i too can't remember the version numbeer of the box.

Yes I noticed this too, very annoying
It saves all the channels and as soon as the box is put into standby or any interactive services (such as Sky News active) is used, it wipes all the store channels.
Seems to have happened since the last software "upgrade"
My box is a Pace DS430N (small, white silver and grey one).

I used to have problems with Channels above 800 or 900 disappearing off the EPG on my panasonic box/FTV card if I put in too many "other channels".

As I no longer have custody of the box in question I dont know if the software updates ever cured the fault

Probably, but the chances of them fixing it are mighty slim (why would they want us storing all the BBC / ITV channels in when they'd rather BBC & ITV paid sky lots of money for slots on the ROI EPG?). It's been a known problem for a while now with many boxes (seems to be Pace especially) never actually being able to store the full 50 successfully, but allowing it to store only 3 other channels is a bit on the ridiculous side!
